Most people do not think much about their plumber until there is water somewhere it definitely should not be. In honor of National Tradesmen Day on September 18, Steel Hill Plumbing and Heating is celebrating the plumbers, electricians, carpenters, HVAC technicians and other skilled tradespeople who quietly keep Massachusetts homes working.
For Steel Hill Plumbing, the day is also a reminder that good plumbing involves a lot more than unclogging drains. The local team handles everything from boiler and furnace work to water heaters, tankless systems, remodeling and new plumbing installations throughout the South Shore.
“There’s a reason you don’t want your plumber learning on the job in your basement,” said Bob Murphy of Steel Hill Plumbing. “The trades take years to learn, and even after you’ve been doing it forever, you still run into something you’ve never seen before. National Tradesmen Day is a good reminder that there are a lot of people out there who spent years learning how to keep everybody else’s homes running.”
With colder New England weather around the corner, Steel Hill is also encouraging homeowners to use the occasion as their annual reminder to pay attention to aging water heaters, boilers, old piping and other plumbing or heating issues before winter puts them to the test. Homeowners can contact Steel Hill Plumbing or call 781-384-5351 to schedule service.
