BRYCER, the creator of The Compliance Engine (TCE), announced the launch of Live Chat, a real-time support service that connects service providers with a BRYCER support representative without leaving the platform. Live Chat went live July 6, 2026, to all TCE service provider users nationwide and is included in the report submission support BRYCER already provides.

Support at the Moment of Fire Inspection Report Submission

Report submission questions tend to be time-sensitive and specific to what’s on the screen — a payment question, an upload error, a premise that isn’t appearing where a service provider expects. Those questions could arrive through any one of several channels, often without the detail needed to identify the issue, which meant a round of follow-up before anyone could start troubleshooting. Live Chat removes that step by putting the service provider and a representative in the same conversation while the issue is still on screen in TCE.

How BRYCER’s Live Chat Works

Support inside BRYCER’s fire compliance software follows a simple, immediate process

  • Chat opens from the bottom-right corner of any TCE screen — nothing to install or set up
  • A few quick questions capture the page, the error, and the report or premises in question
  • A BRYCER support representative joins with session detail already visible and troubleshoots live, using screenshots, links, and guided walkthroughs
  • Work that requires a deeper look — report merges, data audits, refunds — becomes a support ticket with the full transcript attached, so nothing has to be explained twice

“The goal of Live Chat is to speed up how quickly service providers can get a problem solved while they’re working in TCE,” said Michael Stephany, Head of Service Provider Partnerships at BRYCER. “Most issues can be handled in a single conversation, which reduces friction and streamlines the submission process.”

Available During Business Hours to Every TCE Service Provider

Live Chat is staffed Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central, and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central. Chats opened outside those hours convert to a support ticket routed to BRYCER’s support queue. Existing channels stay open, including email and phone support, so Live Chat gives service providers a faster path to an answer without removing any other way of reaching BRYCER.

Part of a Broader Investment in Fire Compliance Software

Live Chat is a service provider support channel inside BRYCER’s fire compliance software and does not change anything in the AHJ workflow. The benefit is indirect but real: when a submission question is resolved in the moment instead of over several days, the report moves forward instead of sitting — and a smoother submission process for service providers supports stronger report submission and compliance rates across the jurisdictions they serve.

Live Chat follows the July launch of Compliance Sync, BRYCER’s managed report submission service, in which BRYCER’s administrative specialists handle TCE report data entry on a service provider’s behalf. Both services work toward the same outcome: less administrative friction for service providers, more time spent on inspections and customers, and compliance data reaching AHJs sooner.
