OPEX® Corporation, a global leader in Next Generation Automation providing innovative solutions for warehouse, document and mail automation, will debut Axis™―the company’s simplified, one-touch document scanning solution―at ARMA InfoCon 2026. Scheduled for October 25 through 28 at the Savannah Conference Center in Georgia, this premier gathering for information governance professionals offers strategies to help solve challenges in records, data governance, privacy and compliance.
“ARMA InfoCon will mark the first time OPEX is presenting the Axis document scanner since our official announcement of the product,” said Dann Worrell, President, Document and Mail Automation, OPEX. “Our new, simplified, one-touch solution was introduced in early October, and we’re thrilled the timing of this conference coincides perfectly. We look forward to interacting with many of the IG professionals in attendance, and to showcasing how Axis can help them simplify scanning processes, reduce operating costs and improve quality.”
OPEX experts will be onsite at Booth #803 to offer live demonstrations of Axis, built to bring the benefits of minimal prep, one-touch scanning to a simplified, single-bin configuration. This latest offering from OPEX is designed for document capture workflows where minimal document preparation, mixed media handling and/or operational simplicity are priorities. Developed based on customer demand, Axis bridges the gap between the company’s desktop scanner series and its multi-bin production scanner portfolio.
Axis is built on a production-class transport architecture, supporting both continuous batch scanning and scan-from-folder workflows on a single platform. It manages auto feed and drop feed, and handles mixed sizes, weights and conditions. Capable of scanning up to 120 ppm, Axis is ideal for businesses looking for simplified deployment, flexible workstation options, and a focused, purpose-built alternative to multi-bin production systems. It is available in both a fixed workstation and the Axis-M mobile model to support varying deployment requirements.
In addition to exhibiting at ARMA InfoCon, OPEX will host a speaker session titled “Paper is Still Data: Turning Physical Records into Trusted, AI-Ready Information.” The session will be presented by Tim Shields, Business Development Manager, BPO/Federal Government, OPEX, on October 26 from 2:30 to 3:00 pm, during the Experience Hall Industry Intelligence & Solutions Showcase.
For 50 years, OPEX has offered customized technology solutions that enable clients around the world to improve workflow, reduce costs and drive efficiencies in infrastructure. The company’s impressive portfolio of more than 350 patents underscores its dedication to lead industry trends and continuously reimagine automation technology that transforms how business is conducted.
